Our medical services

The medical department of Liget Fürdő provides complete physiotherapy treatment to those wishing to recover. Our water jet tubs are automatic, and we treat our patients with light therapy. In addition, we offer carbonated bath treatment and four-compartment galvanic treatment to our patients with a referral.

Our medical services are supported by the National Health Insurance Fund /90%/ (With specialist care, for which a referral from a general practitioner is required.)

Physiotherapy treatments

Selective impulse current treatment, interference treatment, iontophoresis treatment, Sonophoresis drug administration, direct and underwater ultrasound treatments, low- and medium-frequency treatment, stable galvanic treatment, 4-compartment galvanic treatment, Kowarschik's low-frequency galvanic treatment, diadynamic treatment, edema treatment, sports rehabilitation.

Water jet massage

Therapeutic effect and indication:

Biological effect: Mechanical stimuli have a positive effect on muscle tone. They relax the more rigid epithelium and connective tissue. They improve peripheral blood and lymph circulation.

Indication: To increase muscle strength in musculoskeletal diseases to improve blood supply. To strengthen the surrounding muscles in case of joint pain.

Parking

Liget Bath provides free parking for cars, buses and bicycles in front of the main entrance of the bath.

Carbonated bath treatment

Therapeutic effect and indication:

Biological effect: increasing peripheral circulation, improving the heart's load capacity.

Indication: Recommended for the treatment of heart and vascular diseases.

Four-compartment galvanic treatment

Therapeutic effect and indication:

Biological effect: has an analgesic and local blood circulation-increasing effect.

Indication: recommended for the treatment of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the small joints of the hand, wrist, elbow, and foot and ankle joints.
